Microwave Point to Point

There are primarily two types of Microwave Point to Point systems:

Licensed Microwave System: A system licensed by the FCC almost guarantees no interference from outside radio signals as the frequency assigned is dedicated to you.

Spread Spectrum Microwave, normally using the 900Mhz, 2.4Ghz, 3.5Ghz, 5.8Ghz and 24Ghz ranges. This is suitable where a modicum of interference is tolerable. It works better for voice communications links than for data solutions.

There are a wide range of products for microwave point to point systems, but, in all cases, a site survey is essential in determining the appropriate equipment and frequency.
